Surprised in the best way!

I was pleasantly surprised by the great location and helpful staff. The room was unexpectedly cozy, and I appreciated the free parking. Despite a small room, the added amenities like a refrigerator and microwave made my stay enjoyable. Checking in the friendly front desk staff was the cherry on top. they really went above and beyond!

The location was clutch, just a block from the beach, and we scored a double bed standard room which fit us fine. That was a major plus after a long day in the sun.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had great water pressure that made my shower refreshing after a long day exploring. also, I appreciated the convenient free shuttle service to and from the airport.

I appreciated the convenience of being just a few steps from the boardwalk and enjoying the tasty options like Grotto Pizza and The Cluckin' Crab nearby. waking up to such proximity made my explorations so much more enjoyable!

Improvements needed for cleanliness!!! Stained towels, dirty dishes, and lingering trash in the room were disappointing. A more consistent cleaning schedule and better stock of clean linens would enhance the overall experience. My expectations were not met.

It was a decent option for a weekend getaway in Ocean City with good value for money. The bathroom was decent-sized, but I could hear everything happening outside my door at night. Avoid rooms near heavy smokers.

Our family enjoyed the spacious swimming pool, which kept the kids entertained for hours. Plus, the short walk to the beach made it easy for us to pop back and forth, ensuring everyone had a great time.

The location of Commander Beach House is fantastic. It's just a short walk to the beach and nearby attractions. The staff, when available, were friendly, giving a welcoming vibe. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The carpets seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, and I was uncomfortable walking barefoot. The mattress had visible stains, making it hard to relax. There were issues with the bathroom. the door didn't fit properly, and the room had an odd smell. I also encountered a leaky ceiling in the lobby that took forever to get addressed. The noise from the fire alarm around midnight was frustrating. There’s no elevator, making it tough to carry luggage up the stairs. Comfortable beds are important, and I woke up with back pain each morning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless there are considerable improvements.
